Our institute’s research includes recovering phase information which was lost by pure intensity measurements. The techniques which we investigate and develop focus on different experimental conditions, namely

  • near field conditions in connection with phase contrast imaging (Ralf Hofmann, Julian Moosmann) and
  •  far field measurement conditions in connection with the investigation of inhomogeneously strained nanostructures (Martin Koehl).
